  1. The more time passes the more I feel for wilks. At two different coaching spots now he’s been given a team devoid of talent, led by a practice squad-calber QB, and been demanded to some how get the team to compete at the NFL level. In retrospect its amazing we won 3 games in 2018 with Rosen and the ghost of Sam Bradford at QB. Yet every time I see stats about things a coach actually has influence over, like penalties, it seems he actually was quite solid. I can’t help but wonder where the team might be today if instead of kicking Wilks to the curb, they brought in Kliff as OC.

  2. The 2015 team had superb stats in every single category. Even today, looking back at the discipline that team had is just breathtaking.

2015 to 2016 is particularly interesting. This isn’t a dig at Keim, but in hindsight, this stat amplifies just how bad of a decision it was to let the smartest guys on the defense, Rashad Johnson and Cory Redding, walk and instead place your bets on Brandon Williams and Nkemdiche.

2016 off-season was a rare instance in which getting younger was absolutely not the right move.
