I mean I don’t really think there is much to dig into here. It’s a frustrated coach and QB after a bad drive.
But that’s my opinion and what I believe doesn’t matter 😅🥲
“Does it really matter, Josh?”
Are you trying to make a point here?
Edit: Maybe you would prefer [this version of McD](https://youtu.be/tkzALAmawfY?t=4). Or [this version](https://youtu.be/R0Pe7f-UHYs?t=16). Or maybe you’d prefer if Carr had [this body language](https://youtu.be/8wYcMnxkc0o?t=30).
Omg a royal blue sharpie 😯
Fat Lane Kiffin vibes
Somebody get Jomboy on this
What a cluster fuhhhhhck
Whatever it is, it’s clear there’s a large disconnect between Josh and Carr. The “system” falls apart the moment opposing defensive coordinators make adjustments. We’ve seen it at least 3 different times atp
What’s the narrative you’re trying to sow here? This just looks like a normal interaction where HC / OC / QB trying to immediately learn from and coach.
Carr seems to be under/overthrowing more receivers this season
Not sure what you’re trying to show except a coach who, instead of blowing up at his qb, is sitting on the bench amd coaching him.
Gruden and Gannon would, literally, be screaming at each other.
McDaniels used to do that in Denver but hasn’t been doing that since coming here. I wonder if the two could use a good shouting match.
Kirk Cousins made the exact same throw yesterday and led cook for a td. The fact that Carr hasn’t thrown 3 tds in two years is alarming. He can’t finish drives. Tua throws 3 Tds every week. Makes no sense to me
Wonder how Carr and Gruden’s post-game conversations are going this year.
Anyone have the video of Carr laughing his ass off on the sideline of this game when we were up 20-0. I want my blood to boil
Defense Defense
Trust, he still lacks wisdom
I just don’t think this head coach is the guy for THIS job
Carr always thinks he knows better. Todd downing ring a bell for anyone? Gruden was the only one strong/more powerful enough to wear him down. Sure enough he had a top season brewing last year before gru got sent off.
Should of never hired him and the D coordinator isn’t any better. Just watch before middle next season his tenure as raiders coach will be over Carr is an excellent QB who is frustrated.
I wouldn’t blame Carr if he opted out if he stil had to work with this buffoon.
Carr wants to punch him so bad
that eye roll.
JMD: See this is how the play is supposed to be ran, this is what you were supposed to do, this is where you were supposed to throw.
Carr: Yeah I get that coach, but I had pass rushers in my face, and the coverage dictated that I throw it to someone else. If you just let me go out there and play, let me throw it to the open receiver we could’ve had the completion.
JMD: I understand what you want to do, but I’m calling the plays, this is who I want you to throw it to, I just want you to go out and execute the plays I call.
Carr: yeah, ok coach, whatever you say……. I’m just
trying to win the game.
That’s what I feel like they were saying to each other
Anyone remembers how Carr played in Gruden’s offense in 2018? He was terrible by large in year one of a new system. Same here.
What gets me is Carr was over throwing everyone in 2nd half and JMD is blamed. How?
What it also could have been:
Derek: I wanted to try and force the ball here but the WR didn’t take the inside route and I was forced to throw it here. *rolled eyes in annoyance at the WR*
It could be anything.
