  1. I mean I don’t really think there is much to dig into here. It’s a frustrated coach and QB after a bad drive.

  8. Whatever it is, it’s clear there’s a large disconnect between Josh and Carr. The “system” falls apart the moment opposing defensive coordinators make adjustments. We’ve seen it at least 3 different times atp

  9. What’s the narrative you’re trying to sow here? This just looks like a normal interaction where HC / OC / QB trying to immediately learn from and coach.

  11. Not sure what you’re trying to show except a coach who, instead of blowing up at his qb, is sitting on the bench amd coaching him.

    McDaniels used to do that in Denver but hasn’t been doing that since coming here. I wonder if the two could use a good shouting match.

  13. Kirk Cousins made the exact same throw yesterday and led cook for a td. The fact that Carr hasn’t thrown 3 tds in two years is alarming. He can’t finish drives. Tua throws 3 Tds every week. Makes no sense to me

  19. Carr always thinks he knows better. Todd downing ring a bell for anyone? Gruden was the only one strong/more powerful enough to wear him down. Sure enough he had a top season brewing last year before gru got sent off.

  20. Should of never hired him and the D coordinator isn’t any better. Just watch before middle next season his tenure as raiders coach will be over Carr is an excellent QB who is frustrated.

    Carr: Yeah I get that coach, but I had pass rushers in my face, and the coverage dictated that I throw it to someone else. If you just let me go out there and play, let me throw it to the open receiver we could’ve had the completion.

    JMD: I understand what you want to do, but I’m calling the plays, this is who I want you to throw it to, I just want you to go out and execute the plays I call.

    Carr: yeah, ok coach, whatever you say……. I’m just
    trying to win the game.

  25. Anyone remembers how Carr played in Gruden’s offense in 2018? He was terrible by large in year one of a new system. Same here.
    What gets me is Carr was over throwing everyone in 2nd half and JMD is blamed. How?

    Derek: I wanted to try and force the ball here but the WR didn’t take the inside route and I was forced to throw it here. *rolled eyes in annoyance at the WR*

    It could be anything.
