  1. Holy shit he had a 17.0 in the Atlanta game??? I don’t remember it being THAT awful. Then again- a few weeks later was the wild card decimation of the cheatriots

  2. They brought up on the radio this morning that this year and Jags game were Daylight Savings changeover day lol

  3. as someone who has to puke before every game, i imagine schedule is huge for allen and things like day light savings and a bye week might fuck with him more than others. i saw a similar decline in his play when he was in front of fans for the first time in 2020

  4. As another commenter pointed out, I unironically think Daylight Savings Time has something to do with it. All three of those week 8 games were the day of Daylight Savings Time.

Also, those three DST games were on the road which exacerbates the affects of sleep issues with added disruption to the schedule. Notably, the only other NFL game he played on DST (2019, vs. Wash), we played at home and won. Also didn’t play particularly well that day either (150yds passing, 1 td). The NWE game was only saved by the fist of Justin Zimmer.

This is also a league wide thing I think. Many “better” teams played down to their competition this weekend particularly because they were on the road (remember seeing this last year too) with pretty low scoring games all around. The only games that weren’t close this week were “better” teams beating inferior opponents at home (Bengals, NWE).

  5. Could be valid. I know it screws me up and I don’t have his responsibilities physically or mentally. It would explain what lots of us noticed, that pregame and during the game he just wasn’t “into it” like he normally is.
    No one really was.
