[O’Connor] “Justise Winslow has been one of the NBA’s best role players early on this season.”

Verno and KOC give a solid 4+ minutes dedicated to the Blazers early in their Tuesday episode. Starts around the 13-minute mark with Hart’s game-winner, then drifts into Winslow talk and team chemistry.

Vernon: “They’ve got these mobs in those post-game interviews. That’s a team filled with veterans who have obviously taken a real liking to each other. It’s actually made me feel differently about that team, because it does stand out. They’ve got a bond and they clearly like each other there, and I do think that can absolutely filter to on the court play.”

And to think, just one month ago O’Connor was advocating trading Dame, gutting the roster and tanking for the 15 percent chance of maybe getting Wembanyama. Never change, KOC.
