Danny boy is getting sued by the AG

  1. My biggest concern: since the team is mentioned in the suit, how does it impact any sale?

  2. “Depositions will not be on a yacht, it will be in a conference room in DC with the AG”….damn baller

  3. In other words, he’s contrived a legally tenuous fishing trip to try to get the Wilkinson Report released. I’m not sure “colluding to deceive” is illegal?

  4. LEFT HAND UP!
Absolutely LOVE that AG mixed in the comment about Snyder and the cheerleaders in his opening comment. Scum bag.

  5. Yep the league covered this up. Danny needs to go but top NFL readership need to go with him. If owners were part of this they need to go as well.

Taxpayers fund this league and need to clean house on corruption.

  6. Hmmmm. I’m worried this will turn Dan back into Dirty Dan and he’ll hold onto the team as a big middle finger to politicians, reporters and others trying to take him down. I hope to God i’m wrong, but he’s that type of person.

  7. No clue what to make of this. An expert could tell me it’s a major deal and Dan and the NFL better prepare for prolonged misery. Another expert could tell me it’s a frivolous action and the whole thing will be thrown out before it gets off the ground. Both seem plausible, but I wouldn’t know who to believe.

  8. Not to be a downer but what does “colluding to deceive” even mean?

Im clueless and don’t understand the legal strategy there using here. What do they have to prove Snyder did? What happens if they succeed?

  9. Can someone explain to me why it’s the DC AG handling? How is this under his jurisdiction? Is the team incorporated in DC even tho HQ is in Ashburn and the incidents happened in VA/MD?

  10. I have no clue what the result of the lawsuit will be or what this means for the NFL but I can’t imagine that the owners will back Dan Snyder at any point and I’d be willing to bet if Dan Snyder decides he doesn’t want to sell, the owners and the NFL will force him too.

NFL is already in hot water due to the Deshaun Watson situation and now this? They’ll do whatever it takes to save face and if they were already pushing for Dan Snyder to leave so this seems like the most obvious decision.

  11. Political theater to distract the masses of a two years of record spikes in violent crime in DC.
