It’s probably not very visible in the picture, but I just drove by Oracle Park and the scoreboard is illuminated with NPB star Kodai Senga in a #SFGiants uniform with the #41. I could be into that.
I have high hopes for this off-season (Judge, Senga, Correa etc.) But even lower expectations (Nimmo,Gallo,Syndergard.)
His best-ever season was 2022, sign the man.

right handed starter. turns 30 in january. been great in japan for decade now. decent strikeout numbers.
doubt he’d be an ace caliber starter, probably relied on more as 3/4 guy. also some questions about innings as he’s touched 180 only once in his career and some concerns about his durability.
supposed to have a good fastball and a nasty forkball, with a cutter and slider to round out the repertoire.
i hope they sign him, can’t imagine he’d require a huge deal, maybe 3/30 gets it done. plus i lowkey wonder if getting him and/or yoshida (really good hitter) might help them with ohtani next year.
