Nate McMillan on AJ Griffin tonight:
“We put him in tonight to try and give us a spark and he was able to knock down a couple shots. So we’ll continue to look at that.”

After a follow-up from @WilliamsLaurenL on what the next step is for Griffin to get more minutes, McMillan said:
“Well, it’s just two sides of the ball. So a lot of times I’m looking at matchups, who he’s guarding, who he has to guard”
Later said “we’ll get him in when we can”

  3. It’s crazy to me that Nate just doesn’t seem to mention the offense as a concern. This shooting is turning into a major concern.

  5. Hunter 27mins. Ready to see him make a deference consistantly. Is his defense that good? Enough to make him an above average sf. Bogi and griffin might can be avg do to their shooting and PASSING. Dude is a ball STOPPER (for our offense) ( not their defense)

  7. The holidays are solid players but they aren’t talented if that makes sense. Like they’re hard workers and obviously talented enough to get to the league

    But AJ and JJ, while young and not consistent on defense, they can simply make plays and shots that the Holidays can’t. We need guys like that riding the pine and getting our talent as much run as possible. Even if it hurts us this season it will help in the long run. We’re not a contender this year anyway.
