If you are down to a practice squad o-line, you should probably call short plays and chip with your tight ends. Not 30 yard developing plays with a rb that can’t catch or run routes as your check down. But I’m just an idiot.

The injuries in the oline killed us you cant have a QB running for his life every play. Hackett is such an idiot for not calling short stuff. Sutton leaves the huddle early before russ is done saying the play and is nowhere near where the QB expects him to be. All this lead back to the coach. How many times did he call a play for Greg in the second half. Hackett has to go or give up play calling duties.

We’re a bad team, bad coach, bad QB, bad O-line, bad WRs, bad RBs, -3 years into a rebuild.
I think Hackett is the worst coach in our franchise history at this point.
He’s a fine human and I’m sure a good person, but his team is the most unprepared the play literally every week. Idk how we keep him for next season, let alone to the end of this one.
At least we’ll probably get new uniforms next year!!!

That line is just beyond bad. I don’t know the last time I saw a line that was penetrated at the very snap every time.
All The Broncos offense has to do is score three TDs a game and they’re 8-1. That’s it. I know I’m being an armchair GM/QB but I don’t see how that’s difficult in this day and age of football.
I’d rather watch 60 minutes, the equalizer and NCIS than watch this offense
It was clear that our entire game plan was to look downfield and that got thrown out with the 2 crucial injuries on the OL. Also, fuck that field. So many players slipping and we would have had a 1st down at the end if Cleveland didn’t slip.
And they didn’t show a good angle but it seemed like Sutton could have jumped for that final pass

It’s hard to win a game where you have your #1 receiver then the next best one is your 5th receiver. Your oline is full of second and third stringers and you don’t have your starting RB. And on top of that your coach is still calling long developing plays. Lots of pain in our future and a very gloomy outlook for the next few years
I was trying my best to stick up for Hackett, but this is my breaking point. Yes our oline injuries are hilariously sad, but that second half offense was some of the worst shit I’ve seen. I don’t think this is on Russ, he got his ass kicked and our oline was a complete turnstyle, but why were we running those plays knowing how bad the line is? I’m down for us to fire Hackett at any time now

Hackett absolutely has to go. Zero adjustments to help the OLine when it obviously couldn’t protect Wilson. 2 TE sets? Nah forget that. Short passing plays? No fucken way, why do that? RPO to keep the edge rushers honest? Pffft in your wildest dreams!
This dude absolutely cannot lead a team. He might be a serviceable OC on an otherwise good team, but he clearly isn’t the guy you want when your team is struggling and needs to adjust on the fly.

Hackett should not be safe after we somehow beat an atrocious Jags team in London. Our offensive line is a wet paper bag, yet Hackett continues to call time consuming routes. Dulcich had 4 freaking targets all game. This offense is an absolute joke.

BUT… OC/play caller needs to adapt to that to give him a chance.

We are somehow averaging 7ppg less than we were at this point of the season last year. Let that sink in for a second. This team is averaging an entire touchdown less per game over 10 games than Pat Shurmur’s offense with Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock. This is a shockingly bad offense.
