Remember where we came from

  1. Yup. I learned along time ago, to not let a Bills loss affect me negatively.

The amount of doomers, knee jerk reaction, hot takery and finger pointing today is absurd. It’s not the end of the world

  2. Going to play devils advocate here: the Bills were heavy super bowl favorites in the betting markets before and through the start of the season. All offseason and through the start of the season they told us how important home field advantage in the playoffs was. That has now been squandered.

Yes, the season’s not over, the Bills are still a great team and their goal of winning the super bowl is still attainable. But it’s ok to be frustrated/annoyed/angry/upset and to vent on an online community, whose sole existence is to foster discussion, about the fact that for the second year in a row they have underperformed in the middle of the season against presumably inferior opponents.

  3. A lot of people have gotten spoiled by blowouts, watching Allen play a literally perfect game, etc. Hopefully they get it out of their system now … who am I kidding, they’ll be acting like the next loss is the team moving

  4. Just because I’ve been around a long time and I’ve seen this before doesn’t mean that I’m okay with it.

  5. We’ve been 6-3 or 7-3 each year since 2019 at the week 10 mark. All of those years were playoff teams. Most of those years we had a shot at the Super Bowl. The most important moment of this year is next week against the Browns. LGB

  6. Yeah, the fact that this is the last year of Allen and Edmunds’ rookie deals, along with the high expectations means we should absolutely be allowed to be critical of this team. I would have preferred to not watch the team suck my entire life to only have them squander the chance to finally be really good, y’know?

  7. Uh idk if you know this OP, but we went 5-2 to start the 2011 season and finished 6-10. Probably before your time…

Real Bills fans have experienced collapse after collapse and letdown after letdown. Forgive us for not being super rosy after the last 3 games.

  8. Difference being these Bills are supposed to be better than this

Also it’s not just *this* loss, it’s the implication for the future. Just like last year, this week and last week are the games we’re going to look back on at the end of the year and point out as the reason we’re not having a bye, or not playing at home, and lose because of it.
