When is everyone going to accept this is the Kicked Can’s manifesto? Sean saw the writing on the wall and dipped. DA is the perfect, transitional fall guy. He’s never been a good head coach before for a reason. The money has to right itself at some point and this season is the start of that. Next year will follow suit and the AK situation will be to blame for on field production. Fact is the LOC is overextended and it’s time to make payments.

Firing a coach halfway through his first season is a TERRIBLE idea. It damages repuation and hurts our chances at getting someone new on the offseason if they are worried about getting canned halfway through their first season. Let him play it out till the end of the year.
I wish we never promoted him, he was a fantastic dc, but now his reputation with the fans is ruined.
I don’t think Lady Gayle is paying 2 head coaches for the next 3 years.
Oh these Payton/Brees era fans that didn’t experience the mid/late 90s.
And who are we putting in his place for the rest of the season? There is nobody on staff worthy of the position. We aren’t going anywhere this season. It’s best to wait and see who is worth giving a shot in the off season.
