1. this will probably help his development. they feel like they can’t play him at the nba level yet so this is the correct thing to do.

4. Shoot, I remember when Thabeet got sent down by the Grizzlies back in 2010. For those who don’t know who Thabeet is, he was the second overall pick in the 2009 draft, ahead of guys like Harden and Curry. Thabeet’s defensive skills never translated into the NBA. And never developed offensively. An all-time draft bust.

   If your first round pick is just riding the bench and playing junk minutes for more than a couple weeks, send them to the G League to go play 35 mins and dominate for a bit, then bring them back when you are actually ready to play them.
