Lot of stuff in here but Portland relevant info towards the bottom. A lot of what we already knew though, that the negative response initial trades Cronin made was a overreaction and that it wouldn’t come to fruition until the offseason.

More importantly, it allowed Portland to sign Anfernee Simons, Jusuf Nurkic, Gary Payton II and still stay below the luxury tax. Six months later, Portland finds itself with a 9-3 record and a top-10 defense. The reason? Wing depth led by Grant, Hart and Winslow.
