  1. I mean. Does the FC make anywhere near as much money as the Jets? Don’t see why NY wouldn’t wait until the MetLife contract is up so the Jets could swoop in.

  2. Wishful thinking, but too bad they can’t work out some sort of agreement and build a 60-65k seat stadium that the Jets and NYCFC could share.

  3. If we can share a stadium with an a different football team, we can be better off sharing a stadium with a soccer team.

  4. I think we should reclaim some land on the NJ coastline near maybe Hoboken. That way we get the sweet Manhattan skyline, NJ commuters are happy they don’t have to go into the city, and LI commuters have an easier time than they do now. Everyone wins.

  5. If i ever win a $5B jackpot, keeping $5M for myself and using rest to buy jets and build them a fuckin stadium we can be proud of. Its shameful we never had our own place

  6. If it was there or nowhere, then I’m glad it’s dead. Getting to Queens, particularly that part, is a goddamn nightmare if you’re driving.

  7. I dont live in NY but do people actually go to games to warrant an MLS stadium? I mean, arent the Red Bulls also an MLS team? Did we really need 2 NYC soccer teams?

  8. This dream died over a decade ago. Once the Jets built the Florham Park facility, there was zero chance they were ever coming back to New York.

  9. They should build “Coin Stadium” for the jets after this season…make it round and shiny.

  10. Dumb. They should’ve just built a massive homeless shelter and a 5,000 pickle ball courts.
