  1. I don’t think Heinicke is the long time answer here. But he’s clearly the best choice on this roster to lead this offense right now. You can’t deny the entire team loves this guy.

And the fact Terry M was invisible with Wentz is inexcusable. When you have a top WR in the league, he better be getting plenty of targets a game.

  2. I absolutely believe Heinecke deserves to start the rest of the way, and it looks like it’s one of the most obvious decisions a coach could make.

However, I kind of hope they string Heinecke along each week bc it seems like Taylor absolutely thrives off of having no job security the next week.

Not really fair to Taylor in a way but the dude loves playing like that lol.

  3. Heinicke and Wentz are both bad QBs and not a long-term answer, but Heinicke is *clearly* the superior option the rest of the season. He is a far better leader than Wentz and has the ability to make off-schedule plays with his legs.

  4. Heinicke isn’t the long term answer but he’s hands down the best option we have. Putting Wentz back in would be insane.

  5. Washington’s problem has never been solely the quarterback. The problems have been leadership, and an offensive line. Look at Kirk Cousins. They should keep heinecke as qb and focus on building the rest of the team.
