Good news is that the Astros do not need to make such drastic moves besides securing a good to solid First Basemen and Outfielder. The pitching staff, which I felt was the biggest reason why we won it all, is mostly intact minus Verlander.
We’ll need one for 2023 sometime. Contracts will be in need of heavy consideration for extending or letting go and I’d like the next guy to get some time in the organization before that.
Gotta feel like they are moving for Stearns when he’s done in Milwaukee.
