Teoscar Hernandez hitting four of the biggest Toronto Blue Jays home runs in 2022: Game-tying shot vs. Rangers on Opening Day, go-ahead shot vs. Yankees in June and a two-homer game vs. Robbie Ray and the Mariners in Game 2 of the WCS

Teoscar had a knack for coming up in big moments. He had pivotal home runs in the Blue Jays’ two biggest comebacks of the 2022 season and paired those with two huge home runs in Game 2 of the WCS against Robbie Ray and the Seattle Mariners.

  1. I was lucky enough to see four of the five home runs linked above in person (2021 return to Toronto, 2022 Opening Day, Wild Card Game 2). Part of the reason for that was because I like attending what I think are important games and Teoscar seems to have a knock of coming up big in those types of games.

He was the longest-tenured Blue Jays player and the heart and soul of the team. Even though I understand the process behind today’s trade, I will deeply miss him.

  2. what a player. will miss him.

mildly upset he went to Seattle, but more excited to see the pitching department bolstered

  3. My first every memory as a Jays fan was watching Teo break out against the Nationals in 2020. He will forever go down as my first favourite player. Watching him develop into a star was an absolute treat.

So please stop making me remember these before I start crying even more 😭😭😭
