Our path to 10-7 is pretty clear need to take 2 games of the remaining games against the Fish, Bills, Jets, Vikings & Bills again. While beating the 2-7 Raiders, 5-4 Bengals & 4-6 Cardinals
I know it’s not guaranteed by any means by 34% for a current playoff team and they put us behind a few AFC non playoff teams rn. Our defence is like crazy good!
Also I realize I spelt offence & defence the non-American way, I apologize I don’t think I can edit titles
And are now going to have to go through the difficult part of the season.

They have the 4th hardest remaining s.o.s., but I’m pleased they are in this position considering at times it looked like it could be a lost season
Much like the Red Sox this season, we are in the toughest division in our sport and we are suffering from that fact. If we played in the AFC South that projection would probably be upwards of 75-80%, but we have 4 games left against our own division and our entire division is made up of playoff quality teams.
Schedule+ offense
It’s pretty simple, their two easiest remaining games are on the road, @Cardinals and @Raiders. They have the entire division and Bengals at home to go, as well as a trip to Buffalo and, oh yeah, a short week trip to the Vikings. Road teams do abyssmally on Thursday games.
To make the playoffs they realistically need to win a minimum of 5 of those 8 games
A 1 in 3 chance is pretty much right on the money. They have to win those two easy road games, they need to win at least 2 out of three divisional home games, and find a win somewhere in @Bills, @Vikings, vs Bengals and that 3rd home divisional game.

Tbh…does it really matter? This team if there were to make the playoffs will be one and done. They simply can not compete with the top tier teams in the league.
It’s a shame to see the offense going backwards not forward this year.
I honestly think we’re going to beat the Vikings on thanksgiving
I remember reading something like her projections hit less than 10%. No clue why she is still the numbers person for nfln
Just need to go look at the Bengals, Chargers and Colts schedules they ain’t easy. Would argue their schedules are just as tough or tougher given how those teams are playing
toughest remaining schedule in the league and our division is the most competitive/closest as well. We’re not great, but we’re also not as bad as this prediction suggest, tho I still would agree that we have a very low chance of making it.
Who the fuck is Cynthia?
Fortunately football of all sports is probably the one where these types of probabilities fluctuate the most on a week-by-week basis. It’s also fortunate that we are as of now looking pretty healthy for the stretch run (though that can fluctuate as well). We haven’t had the knockout injury yet, but we have had runs of absences at several positions and still kept chugging.
I still think we go anywhere from 8-9 to 10-7, but the best could very well be yet to come with this team, so I’m leaning 9-8 or better
