It never ceases to amaze me how defenceman are willing to plow guys into their own goalie.
Ottawa is litterally a cup winning team potential and I know it sounds silly but if u think abt the good runs they’ve been on and there young team they can make it far with good chemistry, all they’re losses so far was due to some lack in defense and every game has been close
The Sabres we know and love are BACK!!!
Sabres need to step up their game and get stronger on offense! They had a lot of opportunities to score and fell short. Follow through!

That Sanderson pass off the boards was too clean.
Sabres need to turn this around now.
Skinner at 1:01 says "Hey I played a little D! Time for me to flee!
Dahlen at 2:20 says "Hey what the heck! Let me show you a Swedish check!
Alex at 2:35 says: "Hi, I'm Alex Tuch, should I check him? Aw what the %$#$%^$$"
Olaffsson at 7:37 "Da backcheck? Dat is not in me pay check!"
8:17 How Swede it is! Dahlen, with the Sabres having an empty net says: "I hope we win! I will shoot it in!"
The old dump and chase when your net is empty, and then no one chases!
That dump and chase for Buffalo at the end was an offside mess. First they need to clear then go over before they've fully clear which brings back the attack for a 2nd time.

The Senators uniforms look much better this year

It happens all the time…….Sabres are too mesmerized by the puck in their own zone….
I feel bad for Buffalo. At the start of the highlights, they looked like they were playing well. Tage Thompson still looks fantastic. But as the game went on into the 2nd and 3rd periods, they just fell apart completely. I hope Bedard can help!
Game by game, big one vs Devils next. Get some rest and good luck.
Senators were good tonight, Buffalo were out fought and out thought. Buffalo showed lack of punch.
The amount of turnovers sens make actually makes me feel sick. SORT IT OUT !!!!

Entertaining game. Both teams played sloppy, had a lot of giveaways penalties and chances. Perhaps Ottawa and Buffalo should make a trade that could help out both teams. A defenceman to Ottawa and a forward to Buffalo would likely help both clubs. Ottawa‘s power play is much more dangerous with Chabot on the ice. Sanderson is really standing out more and more every game. Joesph was buzzing looking like Formenton out there, that speed is some thing the senators have been missing this year terribly. Stützle‘s picking up empty net coins like crazy🤣
Saber’s have been very tough to get a W against. Even tho they didnt get the Win last night, They have a ton of young talent and are very exciting to watch on the ice. I said it last year that this team could actually make the playoffs. This year has been crazy…. Boston getting off to a Amazing Start and been killing it, you got the Devil’s tearing it up on the ice to the start of the season, Vegas is playing really good Hockey and the surprisingly the Kraken are actually playing well to. This is what the NHL needs. Great start to the season

After every Sabres loss, I read these comments about the talent on the opposing team and their fans optimism. Occasionally, it may be warranted but, let’s be honest: the Sabres are a HORRENDOUSLY BAD team with no goaltending, little defense and NO GRIT.
Jesus H Christ, this stupid team might be realistically out of the playoffs by December. How (pathetically) impressive.
A little bit lazy on that empty net goal but otherwise the Sabres were competing pretty hard – lots of chances to score. Good saves by the goalies.
Sanderson is everything I hoped he would be. Loved watching him and Pinto in North Dakota and now for the Sens. He's a better defender than most in the league right now. His poise and calmness for his first year are elite. Go Sens.
