I’m surprised so many fans have apparently never heard of this. I remember hearing it first in 2014-2015. It felt awkward but I’ve grown to really like it. Feels clunky in a charming, regional way.
I’m surprised Bud Light is deep enough in fandom to know about this relatively minor nickname.
Edit: Do a quick search for Thers in this subreddit. You’ll see even though it’s minor, it is a nickname the fanbase uses.
