  1. I’m overly optimistic sure. But tell me 7-3 or even 8-2 is undoable. I think we take advantage of this next stretch. Take the asskicking in the Bucks and Celtics b2b right after and keep on keeping on.

    8-2 = 15-11

Gotta win a few on the road. Gotta beat teams you ought to beat.

  2. Despite the obvious struggle bus we’ve rode this first month… Legit we are a few unlucky bounces a few terrible ref whistles from a 9-7 record right now. That Charlotte OT game and Orlando one point game were both defeat snatched from the Jaws of victory type games.

Glad the team took positive steps last night… I think by the new year this stretch will be a “glad we got it outta the way early” kinda thing. Klay looked more himself and the defensive effort and offense moved the ball was there yesterday.

Next we just gotta figure out how to get it done on the road. Then we’ll be Gucci.

    Go Dubs!

  3. I hope to see that passing and ball movement from now on. Defense still had lapses but was generally good

That’s what I want from Klay. Smart shots and not chucking. Shot really well relatively. Good cut for a dunk as well

Dray was phenomenal as well. Good plays with Steph and a “sure win 3”. Usual good defensive impact

Wiggs was really good. Showed good finishing with his athleticism and timely 3s

I loved the Kuminga-Poole-Donte bench squad with Wiggs and Loon. That’s where our lead and momentum took off. The defense of that unit was solid. I love Kerr to the moon and back, but I don’t like his fetish for Lamb and JMG over Kuminga. JMG had good cuts this game but was almost always getting scored on and awful on D. Lamb had good shooting games recently but he was useless on offense this game. He (Lamb) hustled hard tho. I just hope coach trust JK more esp we need that rim pressure when offense gets stagnant evident in the 3rd qtr when we just keep on chucking 3s annoyingly. I feel like the “idea” of JMG overshadows his current play. It’s reminding me of last season where JTA (Belli in the reg season) used to play before JK until the latter proved to be the better option (I’m pretty sure that will happen again this season together with Moody). JTA and Belli would do stupid plays and miss a hundred 3s, like Lamb and JMG this year, and those would somehow be fine to Kerr but when the young guys commit 1, they’re in the doghouse. JK played good and deserve more playing time

  4. Great team win. It was really good to see Klay playing within the offence and not forcing it and that rubbed off on everyone (32 assists) for the game. I think even Steph made a conscious effort to get everyone else going rather than hunting his own which of course he has every right to considering he’s the fucking MVP but 10 assists and a W is the way to go for him right now and preserving himself on D. We don’t need him expending so much energy like last game getting 50 and not having the stamina to defend.

We just need to string a solid 5-6 game win streak to kickstart our season.
