Mackwood should be our 3rd option even when he’s back
Couldn’t get a win last year, 0-4 at a 4.83.
Now 3-0 with a 1.34!
He’s looked good! Would have no problem with him getting some stsrts

Looks like a more than competent back up. Blackwood may have lost his job as the starter and our #2 option.
Small sample size but I mean, even if Schmid regresses he may be a better choice.

I’m curious how much of it is that Schmid is just better now than Daws was last year, versus just getting more support from the team in front of him.
I genuinely believe MB 29’s time is done in jersey after this season. I’m not sold on a VV as a starter per se, but I can’t see them bringing mb29 back. It’s so difficult for a goaltender to be consistent when they’re constantly injured, which he is.
