  1. Because if it’s important, they’ll flex it. If not, they won’t. (Is my guess, I have no idea)

  2. If there is something to play for it’ll likely be a primetime game. If it’s a nothing burger, it’ll get stuck in the shit afternoon slot.

  3. Because they’re not a real team so they don’t even know if they’ll show up

    Wait shit, wrong sub

  4. The day is not tbd. All week 18 games are played that last Sunday. Times are scheduled after week 17 once the playoff scenarios (tie breakers and such) are laid out. They want to minimize teams not having anything to play for in the afternoon games and of course they want the night game to decide a playoff spot.

  5. Look at the schedule, all the games for week 18 are TBD. They want to get the most important games on national tv for ratings.

  6. “In Week 18, two games will be played on Saturday (4:30 PM ET and 8:15 PM ET) with the remainder to be played on Sunday afternoon (1:00 PM ET and 4:25 PM ET) and one matchup to be played on Sunday night (8:20 PM ET). Specific dates, start times, and networks for Week 18 matchups will be determined and announced following the conclusion of Week 17.”
