Sign kershaw as well, commit to go full old timers lol
Joking aside this’d be lit, 3 HOF caliber pitchers if we resign Jake
Was his wife with him? Might sound like I’m joking but if he’s serious about moving to NY she’d be with him.
Man I’d be real nervous signing him to anything beyond 2 years with options for more. He was very good this year, but our rotation would be downright geriatric in baseball years
He’s just gonna get injured. Bros older than scherzer. I don’t want to be relying on a bunch of has-beens that are only here to get paid.
Just sign de Grom FFS. Verlander is great. Kate Upton is very great; but how much older do we want to make this team
Oldest rotation in the league, here we come!
God no. We already have one 38+ HoFer more likely to breakdown than make 25+ starts and another 32+ maybe HoFer more likely to breakdown than make 20+ starts; the last thing we need is a third.
We need to build a staff, not buy one postdated 5 years ago.
More 40 year old pitchers. What could go wrong.
This would’ve been cool back in 2015
Intriguing…but while the Mets are senior citizen shopping, let’s see what Jamie Moyer would accept to be our starting LHP.

Do we need a 40 year old pitcher?
Gotta keep all our options open just incase.
deGrom, Scherzer, Verlander rotation.
Who says no?
But did he greet the Mets?
