Canadiens Push Back On Criticism From Pierre Gervais’ Book

  1. Il vient de faire une entrevue à RDS également.

I love Pierre and always had a lot of respect for him but I’ll be honest I don’t get this. Is it a way to make a bunch of $?

  2. Been a long time since we had a bombshell like that happen with the team. The first real event Hughes, Gorton, and Machabee have to navigate. You know this sub doesn’t have a feel for the pulse of the fanbase considering how this is the first thread about the book today while it has been talked about on every network all day.

  3. I feel like Gervais book was released extremely fast. Idk, I love it from a fan perspective but perhaps it’s too much?

  4. I hate this type of shit. His criticism of Pacioretty is just pathetic: he says he never smiles. Really man? That’s your problem against the guy? Some people just smile less, learn to accept other people as they are. This is in very bad taste IMO.

  5. Breaking news: Someone didn’t like some people at work.

More Breaking News: Co-workers still working there don’t want to get caught up in the drama.

  6. You know, Gallagher’s the real captain of this team. He’s the go-to quote, anyway. When the press, or at least the English press needs someone to speak for the room, it’s Gally they ask. I dunno if it’s the same in French.

But I didn’t like some of the guys Gervais doesn’t like, so I have no problem with the book.

  7. I’m not sure what the big deal is. Gervais has his opinions from his interactions with some of the payers, and he has all the rights to publish those opinions in a book. Some of the players might not agree with him, and that’s okay.

  8. I find it very unprofessional of him to air everything out like that, about players that are still in the league. Idk it just seems too soon and it feels like he’s slamming people for no reason
