[Post Game Thread] The Portland Trail Blazers (10-7) fall to The Milwaukee Bucks (12-4) 111-119

We matched them well during the first half, so that’s a positive. In 3rd quarter Giannis killed us with midrange jumpers and in the final three minutes, they just flexed that they have more talent than us. First really rough game from Sharpe, will be interesting to see how he bounces back from it next game.
Game didn’t really feel out of reach until it became clear 3s weren’t gonna fall. Not a bad effort against an elite team, all things considered.
Hilariously covered the spread
This was never going to be an easy game, but I do kinda miss feeling like we’re one of the best teams in the league. I suppose the only real bad part about an amazing start is the eventual regression. I still believe in us though.
Third quarter killed us. Jerami and Shaedon couldn’t connect from downtown which didn’t help either

The jerseys are my scapegoat. Sickly carpet blue.
I feel like Chauncey needs to ban 3s for awhile, they’re just not hitting.
We were out gunned without a healthy Dame and GPII on the road. On to the next one. Hopefully, it’ll be a learning experience. Bunch of glimpses of great play, but not enough. Nice to see Ant with a solid offensive game too.
Blazers arent meant to be the number one seed anyway. That aint our style
Did Shaedon just walk off the court before the buzzer? Looks like Dame looked at him and started shaking his head.
I’m not that upset over that loss. Bucks are a great team and we just didn’t shoot well. Also I hate to say it but Sharpe has had 2 awful games in a row, I think it’s time to start Winslow over him
8 point loss isnt bad at all for the circumstances
How many games are we going to continue to run this 4th quarter switching defense? Giannis worked ant and jrue got his against nurk. We give them whatever matchup they feel like and I really can’t understand it.
At least the defense keeps games like these “winnable.” Offense being bad seems like a symptom of players who are still unfamiliar with each other. Really just looking to be above .500 by Christmas so we can start a New Year’s charge.
Tl;Dr of this game: Giannis took over
Giannis is unfair man
Could really use some offensive punch off the bench.
I wish Nurkic would play with the same energy and passion as Eubanks. He would be an All NBA guy every year if he did.
Felt a lot better than losing the last game to be fair. Less embarrassing plays, just up against an awesome team.
Justice is so bad on offense man why was he in at the end with Trendon doing well?

That ball may as well been a greased up watermelon at a public pool for our team. We gotta be better with movement.
