Kevin Durant: “Kevin Heurter, right now, he’s playing like Klay, Steph. If you’re not a basketball fan and locked in on the league, you gotta watch how Kevin Heurter is shooting this ball right now.”

Vivek finally got his “Shoot like Steph, Big like Klay”
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!
Say what you want about KD but the man is a basketball addict, can’t take that away from him.
Like if he was hit with a “who he play for?”, he’d probably get like 80+ percent
fire the fucking laser beam even kd respects em
Kevins gotta look out for each other
I swear Kevin knows who everyone in the NBA is
People are talking about us in interviews now?! And they aren’t talking shit?!
KD talking up the Kings. What an incredible timeline.
I miss you Red Velvet
“He’s playing like Michael….”..(co-host starts laughing and we worry that perhaps he will dilute the Huerter analogy by comparing Keegan Murray to…)…”…Porter Jr.”
One of the really endearing things about KD is that he’d clearly be a total basketball junkie even if he was 5’5” and really uncoordinated.
Kevins complimenting Kevins, you can’t trust anything they say.
> “My rookie year on a road trip. I think, um, this point I’m coming off the bench. I think I was a second guy off the bench. So we get in the game and playing the warriors in Oracle, Kevin Durant’s on the team and so I, like, get switched on to him. And so right away, I’m like, ‘I’m guarding Kevin Durant,’ obviously, you know, freaking out a little bit. And so right away, I’m like, ‘Alright, I’m gonna get in this guy, like he can’t just baby me right now on TV.’ So I tried to pressure him and he loses the ball, goes out to halfcourt. So right on, like, hell yeah, like this guy’s about to pick it up. I’m gonna be good. So I follow him out to halfcourt and he takes he catches it, he looks at the shot clock. > > “There’s like six seconds left, and takes like three dribbles. He just left-hand three dribbles, gets to around 18 feet, just hits me with a quick shoulder in the chest and just fades away, bangs it too and as he’s going back on defense, he’s backpedaling, just goes, ‘Welcome to the league.’ And so that was my first moment of like, ‘God these guys are just unbelievable’ … I think I’m doing a great job, he loses the ball, he’s at half-court and he just hits the easiest dribble pull up on me. And we had guys on our team like Taurian Prince at the time, like broke down laughing on the court. You can actually see it, he literally looked at me with like the biggest smile on his face. But that was definitely one of my welcome to the NBA moments. It’s one when I remember very vividly.”
KD saying Harrison Barnes can get a bucket on anybody and shouting out Chimezie Metu might be one of the most glorious moments a Kings fan could ever experience
Lmao I get his point but that last line is funny. Kevin Heurter really pulling views like that?
KD sounds sick as hell
That’s a sweet room
Gotta respect KD for calling it how he sees it. He throws some shade sometimes but throws out a lot of respect too
I love this.
How many active, top-whatever players tell you to go watch a 16ppg player on a middling team? Only KD.
Legacy points added
Lol dude is crazy. Dude is obsessed haha. On the other end you got Kawhi talkin about how he doesn’t watch basketball
KD passing the torch is a beautiful thing
Man c’mon I didn’t come here to see this after a zero offense game yesterday.
