  1. Had to play Jokic 37 minutes in his first game back from COVID protocols and they still lost and now they got a road B2B *sigh*

  2. It sucks, it hurts, Murray should have came back tomorrow. Jokic looked good, bullshit whistle again but thats never gonna change. Mike looked good, that knee bump scared me. Gordon looked fine but you can tell him and Murray were still feeling the left overs from the sickness. If Bones was healthy, we would have won, the bench would not have done as bad. Idk how Zeke was a -23. He seemed fine in his minutes. Braun should have got more time, not sure whats up with that. But overall. We can come back and get W tomorrow and move on! Fully healthy I’m not worried. Lets get healthy and we don’t lose this game. It is what it is! Oh well! 🤷🏻‍♂️ big W coming tomorrow!

  3. That was a NASTY LOSS. Nuggets gave the Lakers their first win, Pistons their first road win and Knicks their first road win in Denver since 2006. Those 3 losses would have pushed them to the first seed if they won. Everyone should share the blame in the loss. Malone’s early coach’s challenge in 1Q and his questionable lineups, Jok/AG missing free throws, Murray not passing to the MVP in the clutch and just playing straight awful. Reed playing over Braun. No Cancar minutes. DJ being rewarded more minutes despite playing trash. This was supposed to be an easy dub and they just let the Pistons walk all over them.

  4. Im getting so tired of the lack of urgency that this team has. You can blame coaching all you want, but at the end of the day the players just don’t care. I have poured so much time into supporting this team, hoping for one fucking year where we are a real contender, and I’m sorry, I just don’t see it right now. We have no urgency… we don’t care. We are wasting jokic’s prime and the only chance we may EVER have to win a title. So frustrating.

  5. This was just another lazy effort at home, Pistons didn’t even play well. They wanted to choke that game away. The Bench was fucking trash. Malone was fucking trash AGAIN. Murray shouldn’t have played more than 20 minutes(yet malone played him 34 when he’s clearly still recovering from Covid). Denver needs another creator on that bench unit, IDGAF if you need to sign Boogie again, he at least made the bench watchable.

  6. What is Malone strong suit as a coach? Other than his rage timeouts and throwing MPJ under the bus any chance he gets. Thank god for joker

  7. Team gets the whole squad back and drops it. Team had one member of the squad two days ago and pulled it out.

  8. Fr tho, giving the Lakers their first win and Detroit their first road win hurts. Doesn’t matter at all big picture but I hate it for us.

  9. it’s a process. 8 new players, two stars coming back with history of being streaky anyways. i’m not worrying unless we’re under .500 in january

  10. Keep in mind that the doomers today are the same people who would leave and become a Golden State fan if we would ever enter a rebuild

  11. JAMAL MURRAY NEEDS TO GO!!!!!!

WE HAVE THE 2 TIME BACK TO BACK MVP AND OUR STARTING PG IS PUTTING UP 10 POINTS ON 3/12 SHOOTING?!?!?! AGAINST ARGUABLY THE WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGE WITHOUT THEIR BEST PLAYER?!?!?!

IM DONE PLAYING GAMES! IF WE WANT TO WIN JOKER NEEDS ANOTHER ALL STAR. JAMAL IS NOT AN ELITE PLAYER IN THIS LEAGUE I CAN NAME SO MANY OTHER BETTER PLAYERS I WOULD RATHER HAVE FOR THE SAME PRICE.

I UNDERSTAND HE IS COMMING BACK FROM INJURY BUT AT WHAT POINT DO WE NEED TO START ASKING QUESTIONS? EVEN AT HIS BEST HE IS ONLY A 21.1 PPG SCORER. ALSO MANY PLAYERS HAVE COME BACK FROM ACL WAY BETTER. WE CAN STILL GET A DECENT PRICE FOR HIM WE SHOULD MOVE HIM WHILE WE CAN.

IMAGINE OUR STARTING LINEUP EXCEPT SWITCH MURRAY WITH AN ELITE ALL STAR THAT WE CAN DEFINITELY GET WITH OUR ASSETS.

  12. Kevin Knox nearly outscored the entire nuggets bench tonight that should give you sense of how truly garbo the bench was tonight

  13. Malone is a defensive minded coach and the defense has consistently been a problem. Feels like it’s time to move on

  14. Jokic on the court this season per 100 possessions: +12 Jokic tonight: +12.

    2 point loss.

Our bench, for lots of different reasons, continues to be comical.

  15. I mean, this team has some serious soul searching to do. 17 games in and the Nuggets are the 3rd worst defense in the NBA in terms of 3pt weighted FG% or EFG%. Entering tonight, the Pistons were shooting 49.6% EFG, last in the league. Tonight they shot 55.7%, which would be equivalent to about ~5th placed team. Teams are just lighting Denver up, simply put. When Jokic is on the court they’d be the 27th ranked defense in this regard, and when he’s off they’d be ranked 27th in this regard. They are getting torched by every and anyone.

And it’s not like Detroit shot the 3 well, they shot 28.6%. They had 60 PTS in the paint. I haven’t seen the exact breakdown of @ the rim paint shots, but I know going into the game Detroit was the 26th ranked team in terms of PPG at the rim per game, 20th in attempts per game, and 27th in FG% but they blew all those numbers up tonight. And that’s also kinda been the case all season. The Nuggets are the 17th ranked defense as far as opponent PPG on 3pt shots and #10 as far as opponent 3pt %.

The primary issue defensively is that the Nuggets are 25th as far as opponent PPG at the rim goes and 30th, dead last, as far as opponent FG% at the rim goes. Opponents are shooting 72.5% at the rim entering tonight, and I doubt it got any better.

Last year they were also the 30th ranked defensive FG% team at the rim at 68.9%, but they were still 14th in terms of opponent PPG at the rim because they were allowing fewer attempts.

Idk. Feels like you really need a helpside shot blocker that can play a lot of minutes alongside Jokic if teams are gonna attack pin their ears back and attack the rim. And if you don’t have the personnel on the team to do it I think the front office needs be willing to move big pieces to make that happen and prioritize it.

  16. I just see so many teams with way less talent than us balling out, Portland, Sac, Utah shouldn’t be playoff teams but they’re kicking ass.

Then I see our team with a talented bench and arguably the best starting lineup in the league lose to the Pistons and Lakers.

  17. Pistons had and let me repeat *zero* road wins coming into today.

All 3 of their wins came with Cade Cunningham who didn’t play tonight. They were missing two good starters (Bey and Stewart).

If you’re a tanking team and want a confidence boost, just play the nuggets.

  18. Malone is a bad coach. All this talent and he’s losing to shitty teams like the Pistons? WTF does he game plan all week?

  19. I’ll nominate Adam Mares to replace Malone as Head Coach. He’ll do a better job, change my mind.

  20. every single year our bench hemorrhages points

front office adds Bruce brown and Bones Hyland takes a leap… and the bench is still consistently among the worst in the league. Ffs they got outplayed by the pistons bench.

  21. Bruh I just rewatched the clip where joker eurostepped two pistons and clearly got hit right in the face by duren as he dropped the lay in that shit clearly happened in front of two refs and neither ref called it- again I get that the shitty reffing isn’t an excuse but that shit fr pisses me off he got punched right in the face in the middle of the paint how much more obv did it need to be there

  22. Aaron Gordon’s minutes are the true mystery

Maybe it’s related to the illness? Then again Jamal looked sick all night and still got 34 so

  23. The weird thing about playoffs is that the bench doesn’t matter at all and it’s about the starters but for whatever reason we don’t win games in this scenario.
