I really like this dude a lot. He has a bit of a reputation on the field so I wasn’t expecting him to be such a nice, super intelligent guy off of it. Howie just continues picking the right guys.
Love how he said the choice to pick a team ultimately came down to where he would and more value!
So this dude is someone entirely different on the field and off lol…
I like the embrace of the rotational piece coupled with a vet presence to teach these youngins we got.
I only knew this man from his somewhat ugly on field reputation. What an eye opener this interview was.
Mama Suh sounds like a real one, such a great thing to teach this stuff and getting started on the credit journey early on.

This is great I wish this sort of topic was more emphasized in high school. We had like a week long class on it where we learned about writing checks and stuff but we definitely need more time learning about financial literacy it’s something everyone absolutely needs to learn.
This doesn’t even touch on how much he donates to Nebraska and various other charities. I’m glad at least our fans will understand that his reputation is a little overblown

Googled it. It’s Nate Burleson. Played WR for ~10 years in the NFL.
Remember being really impressed by this guy when he was at Nebraska.
He built a bad boy reputation for a couple of incidents, but really a top shelf guy.
He’s matured so much from when he first got into the league. Really happy to see that.
This guy is an amazing role model for teens and young adults!
Financial literacy is so important to self growth and preservation.
Proud to have Suh on the team.

Say what you want about his reputation, but this is really cool. Financial literacy is something that’s ignored way too much in the education system. We have way too many motherfuckers living paycheck to paycheck and 60% of adult Americans don’t have at least $500 saved up.
We completely ignore something that’s literally shaping every single person’s adult life, yet pound kids with so much information that 99% of adults will never use again after they graduate school. Financial literacy should be a core requirement from middle school and up.
Financial literacy program for high schoolers is one of the most noble causes that exists in our modern society.
Seems like a great guy. Also, touched by his family.
