Free agents that aren’t MiLB contracts don’t fit into Fisher’s “budget”
but that would require money
They aren’t getting any of those guys. Were a farmhand team.
Don’t expect spending this year, another season of trying out farmhands and seeing what sticks.
Primarily a Mets fan and I really hope Dom ends up somewhere where he’ll get good playing time. He’s a class act and all around solid, he was just stuck at positions where we had better options his whole career with us. I’ve gotta imagine he’ll be affordable given his perceived AAAA status.
LOL
The only possibility of Fisher spending on talent is when the team finds a new ballpark. Fisher is saving up until then.
We don’t do that here…
Ehh lots of doom and gloom in the comments, but these are realistic targets, and the A’s brass has signaled they’re going to go after some free agents this year. This is year two of the rebuild, so I don’t expect anything crazy, but I do expect a bit more than Lowrie and Vogt type signings.
I’m also totally prepared to eat my words, so nobody needs to slap some sense into in the comments lol.
Lolol what a waste of virtual ink
They forgot to add me to this list.
That would require a desire to win.
Bahahahahahhahaaha
The only thing named Gallo that the A’s would ever spend money on is Gallo Salame and even that might be too expensive for the A’s to spend money on. They’d probably be like “We’ll take that pack of Salame for $7, but instead of paying you $7, we’ll pay you $1/yr for 7 years” 😂
Where’s Pedro Serrano on the list? Also we gotta get our scouts looking at the California penal league
4 private jets I could pursue if money were no object
Anyone who wants a minor league deal out there?
That’s four too high.
‘But the struggles from his time in New York continued in Los Angeles’
‘struggles over the past two seasons led to the Mets non-tendering him last week’
‘Coming off a down year in which he struggled to stay healthy’
H’owever, injuries limited his opportunities and led to him getting non-tendered by Los Angeles last week.’
