Interviewing every Browns QB since 1999.

Not sure if this has been posted, but this should be an interesting series if he can pull it off. The interview with Tim Couch is actually pretty good!

  1. I still believe there’s an alternate universe where we stuck to our plan and sat Tim all season and we figured out the O Line and we win like 5 Super Bowls. . Dude was TALENTED.

  2. Tim is a great interview. Definitely has his head on straight. And kid did a decent interview.

  3. Coming out of college he had everything… dude was tall and could throw the ball 60 yards all day

Sadly he didn’t have anything around him.

Those sacks started to pile up. The fans were frustrated and took it out on him.

But man. Honestly, we went 7-9 and then 9-7 and made the playoffs on our 3rd and 4th season after expansion. That’s not bad at all.

I remember meeting Tim twice. Once after a practice in Berea for an autograph and the other at a NFL rookie night at Jillians in Cincinnati, some charity thing. He was always shown off with Kevin Johnson. 😂 Tim was always super nice

  4. Couch brought up a great point. Yeah the Oline back then did him zero favors but back then QBs were getting murdered out there. If you take how overly protected QBs are nowadays back then, he could’ve been a bit healthier, even with the 5 pylons we gave him for an offensive line.

I honestly don’t know how this dude doesn’t despise this organization for ruining him and his career. Yet he can look back fondly on his time here. I had like 3 or 4 different Couch jerseys as a kid, he was my favorite player so this was real cool to watch and I hope he can manage to line up a few other interviews. I’d love to see a DA, Garcia or McCown interview. I imagine the stories they must have from when they played for us are wild.
