MLB Pitcher Trevor Bauer Dealt Dual Losses in Defamation Lawsuit Against Woman Accusing Him of Sexual Assault

This whole thing has been so confusing
Sucks that Bauer got a two year ban without pay and people convicted get less. Smh
And tatis only got a light suspension for using steroids
Can we just get rid of this ass clown?
So he didn’t do anything? Was banned for two years, and the lying accuser is not at fault? What?
Looks to me like the MLB just needed a way to get rid of him because he is so critical of Manfred and this was the perfect storm to end his career.
This isn’t anything other than Bauer’s lawyers trying to push a bad argument. DVRO rarely have a “res judicata” effect because the judge in the DVRO is only concerned with a narrow portion of the whole.
Bauer’s lawyers are arguing the Court made specific findings relevant to the civil case. That was never going to win.
So, Bauer’s case is unchanged- not better or worse from this ruling. The argument should have never been filed to begin with.

I dont really believe anything this chick says. Shes clearly just trying to get a nice pay day and chasing fame and has been linked to other star mlb players.
If the sex was so violent the first time why would she go back for more? She even texts back and forth with him telling him how she liked it. She knew what she was doing.

Correct me if I’m wrong but it was reported that she wanted Bauer to be physically rough during sex. She then texted her friend she wanted it like that and she was going to use it against Bauer, which then the friend submitted the texts to the police. Shouldn’t that alone have cleared Bauer?
Then again I didn’t really dig into the case they much, just from what I have heard from the news and read on social media (which yes social media isn’t the best source)
I would just like Bauer to shut up and get back on a major l ague mound.
