Ok so cross out Montreal, Edmonton, and Buffalo. They shouldn’t be allowed to have another lottery pick. St Louis, Chicago, and Washington can be removed too, as they’ve recently won cups and need to go through more pain before landing another franchise player. Remove Arizona because their tank is too obvious, and Columbus because after all these years I’m still annoyed they got Rick Nash and my team has never picked 1st.
So that leaves 7 teams: Minnesota, Nashville, Philadelphia, Vancouver, San Jose, Ottawa, Anaheim. I think the top ~5 ranked players have franchise potential. Good luck to all, sorry to the 2 that miss out on top 5.
