   Is Hutson going to the WJC this year? Would like to see how he does against non-college competition.

7. Makar who? Hutson has balls of steel AND the skills to make shit like that happen as a Dman, this kid is gonna be special I tell you. Everyone thinks he’s too small to have a good defense but who cares about defense when you have Lane Motherf’ing Hutson on your team? You are gonna be in the enemy’s offensive zone for so long that your players won’t even have to play defense.

   People say size matters but I dream of a world where the use of your tools says how good of a D you are and that’s where Lane Hutson comes in. He’s an aspiration for all the short kings out here and anyone that think otherwise will hear from me.

8. What will be quite telling for us who follow all his highlights is as top affiliated prospect lists start to come out, does he get recognition.

9. I keep asking myself if he’s going to be the real deal. He is showing up on my timeline almost daily now, so it seems he’s making a strong case for himself. Very excited to see him in professional hockey in a few years.

10. Maybe one day Hutson will play in a league where the only camera recording the game isn’t in the nosebleed section left on wide angle.
