  1. Bad call . Should have foul right away, Jazz cant rebound the ball anyway. Dont know why Hardy keeps finishing with Olynyk instead of Vando

  2. Okay the tank HAS to be on because that common sense clock management at the end of a game is a fireable offense otherwise.

There is no instance at any level of basketball where you don’t foul there??? What the hell was Hardy thinking???

  3. Turnovers

    Non-existent rebounding

    Shitty transition defense

These 3 have plagued us for the last 10 games and none of them have even remotely been addressed.

  4. Any one have a clip of the last play? Did cam Payne not dive into the defense to give booker that shot?

Guess it is what it is. Ton of mistakes but still a one point loss. Probably shouldn’t have played lauri 37 minutes last night and maybe he hits one more shot?

This might be the first time I’m really questioning some of Hardy’s decisions. A lot of weird decisions but also just watching Ayton kill us on the glass with zero adjustment

I mean maybe just try Kessler? Couldn’t have been worse also like Dok can really jump…

  5. Any opposing C will look like a HOF against us.

Also, in last PHX possession I thought if I were them I’d just take any 3 at the last second. Make it and it’s a W, miss it and time expires and it’s a W. If I, random person, thought of that, how did no one on our team??

  6. Makes no sense not to foul, even if they get the rebound the most time they could have to run a play is 1.5 seconds.

Rookie coaching error trying to play it a bit too cute

  7. Why the fuck would you play that out without fouling OR going for the steal

Worst coaching decision of the year.

Also KO and Vando are absolutely like guards in the post on both ends. Oh well.

  8. Alright I’m ready for the downvotes but great hustle from the team coming from a b2b against the best record in the west and only lost by one. There’s definitely lots to clean up but this is supposed to be a rebuild season, they gave me a reason to root for this group and that’s enough for me.

  9. Don’t understand what Hardy was thinking on that one. 2 second differential and haven’t been able to get a stop or rebound all half. That’s just awful man.

  10. GAME NOTES:

Ayton dominated us. The biggest flaw in our current team is our only big body to help protect against a strong roll man is Kessler. Kesller is good, but he’s just a rook

Big ups to NAW today. Hit all his 3’s, and played some solid on ball D on Bridges and Booker in spurts

Lauri struggled all game, but came alive the last 4 minutes. Hit two threes, was fouled on a 3, and was very aggressive despite previous troubles the first 3.5 quarters

Sexton has impressed me so much with Conley out. His decision making has been generally well (besides that turnover with 55 sec left), and his explosiveness and intensity makes for some fun possessions

THT bounced back from last night to score 10 tonight. Although, he didn’t do much of anything else. 1 reb, 1 block, but 3 TO.

Kessler, God bless his soul, tried his absolute hardest on Ayton, and did the best out of anybody on the Jazz. No blocks for him this game, but solid D

Olynyk still impresses me. 10-6-3-2-2 was his statline tonight, and although he got dominated on the boards by Ayton, he was impressive

Beasley played 35 min tonight, and is a scoring machine. Dark horse 6MOTY contender?

No Fontecchio tonight, IDK why, especially on a SEGABABA

Our last defensive possession was terrible. We needed to foul earlier, and instead allowed for a tap rebound to run out the clock. The decision to not play the VANDALORIAN the final possession was interesting too, especially because we chose not to foul and instead play D. Our defense really needs work. I get we have no bigs for a strong roller and generally do well against a 5-out scheme, but this was bad. Allowing 29-20 to Ayton is terrible. Not to mention our transition D is equally as bad. We do a good job running teams off the 3 pt line, and only allowed 6-22 from 3 tonight, but it’s the rolling bigs + transition that kills us

We also need to work on turnovers. 3 by THT, and 2 by Sexton, Clarkson, Markkanen, and Beasley hurt, especially because we only forced 6.

The west is absolutely brutal, and we are in the midst of our toughest stretch. I’m still not concerned, my original prediction this year was for a play-in spot, and I still think we hit that as a 9 seed.

I think our losing streak shows just how much we need Conley. Get well soon babygirl

12-10 bitches :/ STILL ONLY LOST BY 1

  11. the decision to not foul was absurd, there’s literally no time left if the suns shoot let alone if you don’t get the fucking rebound which you obviously wouldn’t. Tired of this shit. On a positive note, Nickeil really showed up

  12. WHY THE FUCK DIDN’T WE FOUL???

I try not to let sports upset me, but that was an absolutely terrible decision. Give yourself a chance to tie!! I’m also tired of losing winnable games. I don’t known if it’s losing Conley or us just having a lucky start or a combination of other things but fucking hell🤦‍♂️ Going from 10-3 to 12-10 is horrible by any metric.

  13. I think this is a good thing. We could either luck out and continue winning, but that only screws us in the longterm as we get delusional in thinking this team is anything more than a fringe playoff team.

These losses also further increase Mike Conley’s trade value. Time to get that first round pick and continue rebuilding, it’s not done yet.

  14. Yet another game dominated by a center and Walker can’t get a little bit of extra run. Huge mistake. Cost us tonight and Detroit imo. And possibly Philly.

  15. Only guess to why we didn’t foul, either a tank move, or they thought the game was tied. Nothing else makes sense.
