I was 12yo, watching that game live, and I can still see it like it was yesterday.
That dude got up like nothing. Holy hell
I’ve Remembered this hit over the years and wondered if it would fly today. I gotta say, still looks legal. And fucking awesome.
I didn’t realize that the Seahawks special teams ranked no.1 in 1984-85. I knew that Young went to the Pro Bowl that year for ST, but forgot that he was the first NFL player to be selected solely on his special teams play.
That was a fuckin bell ringer. See you Raiders tomorrow.
