  1. I don’t care if it’s been over 12 years, from the bowels of my soul… EAT A DICK SEAN AVERY

  2. What an amazing day. Had my last physical therapy session, Metallica announcing a new album and tour, they also released a new song, Devils beat the Rags, AND we’re first in the NHL.

  3. I’m so proud of this team.

Down 2-0 early and they didn’t give up or lose hope like previous years’ teams. That alone is huge. Winning IN MSG is even bigger!

  4. Huge win. Shows something really great to be able to come back from the early 2 goal deficit.

Minor concern: This is the second game in a row where the Devils had some bad play in the 3rd with the lead. A few too many times they seemed to forget they had a two goal lead in the 3rd and should just make getting the puck out the only priority. As a result, they too often tried to get the perfect break out from their own zone–only to turn it over and fail to get it out. Another one: Couple of times very late in the game they got control of the puck in their zone and tried to make the perfect stretch pass…only to ice the puck and then lose faceoffs back in their own zone. That is a lack of situational awareness. That stretch pass is not what you want with three minutes or whatever left. You just want to get it out of your own zone, and safely keep possession of the puck.

Whatever, those things can be corrected, and it really is a sign of a great team to (1) come back and win from that early two goal deficit, and (2) defend the lead and win even though they did not really play that situation perfectly.

  5. Ruff says Siegs is ok in the post game media availability. (Or, when asked if he was hurt said “no, I don’t think so” or something like that)

  6. Proud of this fanbase….at the game tonight I heard several let’s go devils chants, IIIIIGooor a few times and plenty of “woooos”….was any of that audible on TV?

  7. Gutsy win tonight, our point total going into December is crucial. Team looks legit right now, keep it going this month. No idea what we do with Blackwood when he’s healthy, VV looks like a clear 1a.

  8. Would’ve liked a less stressful third period, but can’t nitpick a W like that away to that specific team.

  9. What is this team.

Given my trauma being a devils fan for the last 10 years, I thought there was a 20% chance they would go on a huge losing streak after the miracle win streak.

    I still can’t compute

  10. I think its cool that we tried to make the game fair for the Rangers by giving them a 2 goal handicap and a man advantage for like 20% of the game. They still couldn’t beat us, but we did what we could.

  11. Reminder: This win would’ve tied an NHL record with 17 if we didn’t get Refballed against Toronto

  12. Real big fan of this generation of Devils continuing the tradition of owning the Rangers in their own barn. Traditions are so often lost in this hyper PC world, but its nice to know some things just cannot be cancelled.

  13. It was giving me heart palpitations in the moment, but I kind of love how Lindy was just rolling defensive pairings and lines at the end there like it was still the first period.

High pressure situation, tight one goal game against our big rival, in their house… 2 minutes left? No biggy. Sends out our 3rd D pair, sends out the 3rd line, sends out the rookie. That’s a boss move. That’s confidence in your players, in your system, in the team. And that is experience those guys need and can’t get any other way.

    What a fun game.

  14. Politics aside. I love this sponsorship with LeGrand coffee house. Not Black or White, this is amazing!
