After trailing by as many as 18 points, the L.A. Clippers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, 118-112. Norman Powell led the way for the Clippers with a season-high 32 PTS, including a career quarter-high 22 PTS in the 4th quarter, while Anfernee Simons tallied 37 PTS (9-16 3pt FG) and 4 AST for the Trail Blazers in the losing effort. The Clippers improve to 13-9 on the season, while the Trail Blazers fall to 11-10.

  3. Clippers are now 5th In the west 13-9 without Kawhi, their best player. If any other team loses their best player they’re done. When Kawhi comes back full strength this will be the best chance the Clippers have ever had at winning a championship.
