Good step in the right direction. To me, that was a full 60 minutes. They didn’t take their foot off the gas after going up, they kept playing. Halak played well, can’t complain about that he made some timely saves. We need this effort again when we play them again, seeing the same team back to back can be tough.
In all, a good hard 60 minutes and it showed. Let’s do it again, LGR.
I don’t think anybody in the world loves their job as much as Sam Rosen. Wouldn’t be surprised if they needed to wheel in an oxygen tank to get him though the third period

They needed this game. 3 even strength goals.. all gritty goals. Exactly what this team needed.
Lindgren is very legitimately like the 4th most important, irreplaceable player on the team and I don’t know how to feel about that.
Is Lafreniere out of shape or refusing to put in 100% effort? Drives into zone and ALWAYS loses the puck. Loses battles behind the net and on the boards. He’s too talented too be playing this poorly.

Lindgren was a monster tonight. Halak deserved the win tonight and I’m glad the team didn’t fail him. I’m not sold on Vesey on the top line but he had a strong game at both ends. I know there are a lot of differing opinions on Kravtsov but I think he definitely earned some more ice time.
The 2 games the fourth line was Blais-Goodrow-Gautier they have produced…
