Bo Nix doesn’t seem like an Arians style QB… that may not matter anymore if there is FO/coaching turnover but BA likes big QBs… Trask is 6’5″ and that’s likely why we took him rather than target other QBs on the board that were rated higher.
I would prefer we not draft a QB next draft and draft for O-Line or EDGE, but if we “have” to take a QB because the coaches “fall in love” with someone, as long as it isn’t Anthony Richardson I won’t complain. AR is overhyped and has poor accuracy. He won’t develop into a pocket passer, and even if he had that potential he won’t be doing it with this coaching staff.
Bo Nix to Ko Kieft would be a fun time for the announcers
I dunno why we wouldn’t see what we have with Trask or test the free agency market first.
Tannehill, Baker, Gurappalo, Zach Wilsin, Sam Darnold, Bridgewater, Winstin, Dalton…I’d rather plug and play one of those guys than start new with some rookie.
We owe it to the veteran peices we have left to focus on winning now.
Once they’ve reached the end ofvtheir careers, fine, blow it up and start a new.
