Why is anyone shocked by this? We had an idea of what the injury is. Von is going to be optimistic and say he plans on being back but if returned for the Jets game then he’d be tested for every HGH substance there is. I just hope he’s ready after these next 4 weeks.

Champs persevere. We’ve weathered an insane amount of injuries this year and are 8-3. This unit is tight. They’re resilient. We’ve got young guys on that D line ready to break out. Edmunds back. TRE partially back. People writing us off. I feel like we’re ready to absolutely steam roll the rest of the way and THEN get Von back. LFG!!!
Not a huge shock. He’s not going to be ready to go full boar in these crucial games so put him on ir so we can backfill and he won’t press to get back. Ideally he’s back healthy enough to impact in the playoffs

IR is only 4 weeks I thought the injury to Von was at best a 4-6 week injury so this was to be expected

It’s a big setback but it won’t finish our season. Tonight Mac will see lots of blitz and coming from all three levels. It will be a sack committee tonight. Let’s hope he heals well for the stretch run. Who cares about position at this point…just gotta get to the dance.

We signed Von to finish off Mahomes in January not beat the Jets, Pats and the fish in the regular season. Our big boys will step up.
I’m becoming more and more convinced this is going to be known as the year that ‘could have been’ if not for utterly insane amount of injuries.
