  15. There definitely was some negatives tonight, but what a game. We shut down Jack Hughes who has been on absolute fire lately, and our vets stepped up and refused to lose. We just need that effort the entire game, that should be our identity

    But also please fix our fucking special teams. PP and PK were awful today

  19. Granny comes in clutch, Saros makes key saves, Joey and Duchene make key plays when needed. Still plenty to improve but they gave the Devils their ~~first~~ second loss since October!

  20. The boys won on my birthday! What a way to end this game. They honestly played a pretty good game aside from 3 minutes in the second and I’m just so happy

  21. Wow! What a win. I’ll be honest. I’m very new to hockey. My first game was against the rangers. I’m hooked. My kids freaking love it too. I’m trying my best to learn, but games like this…no words…wow

  22. MATT DUCHENE YOU GUYS! Two very great plays for the tying goal and the OT goal. He had a bouncing puck and two players gapping up on him on their backcheck at the end of the 3rd but instead of dump and chase he held on, made some nice moves for a nice zone entry that led to the Granny goal. Then that OT goal. Joey and Duch looked like they guys we need them to be tonight.

    Ekholm though. Guys…I respect how long he’s been here, long enough to be a franchise all-timer. He’s for sure the worst passer in the history of the franchise by a mile. To the point where it’s funny. But the dude gets walked around every game. He’s slow, he’s clumsy, and when he’s not getting worked, he’s pulling himself out of position. The only thing he does show talent for is yelling at refs almost every stoppage.

    We just beat the hottest team in hockey!!! Let’s fookin go boys throw a party in the sub! Freaking amazing, can’t wait to watch the highlight reel

  27. ngl, I thought Preds lost for sure when they went on one more PK, but this ending is much better

  28. When they showed Granlund’s goal from behind the net, I loved seeing a Pred’s fan stand up, turn around and throw the crowd a double bird. Hilarious.

  29. I never really paid much attention to Granny between Duchene and Forsberg… dude can hustle. The last few games he is just 100% all the time. Same with Duchene. Love the move to split them to different lines. Serious chemistry with nino – johansen – Duchene

  32. Y’all, we’re about to right this ship. For the past five years my BFF and I have watched the first or second game of the season together, but this year I have been too swamped to do so. And I am superstitious as hell.

    Tomorrow, Preds, tequila and nachos ARE ON THE MENU. I’m like 99% sure that’s going to fix the issues and we’re obviously going to win the Cup.

  33. This is why Dutchy has remained one of my favorites, even when he hasn’t played up to his full potential. Dude always tries to give 110% in some capacity, just gets sloppy at times

  35. Duchene has not been scoring as many goals obviously but he’s had some absolutely insane assists including both of the last 2 game winners
