Yup Conner is so good at getting gotta have it yards. Just run him from under centre

That wasn’t the play. They were running an rpo. Kyler could have handed it off, but the right side of the line already collapsed before he could do it. It would’ve been a loss.
The 2nd read was to the flat, but that receiver was covered, too. Hopkins and Hollywood were supposed to be blockers for A SCREEN PASS but it was busted because the defense was all over it. Hopkins also noticed this and decided to try and get open, because Kyler didn’t have any other receivers running routes so he was forced to throw a prayer. And this is why Kyler said “schematically we were fucked”
And this makes me wonder WHY IS KLIFF CALLING A SCREEN ON 4TH AND 1? And why are our 2 best receivers being used as BLOCKERS?
I thought KM or KK said it was supposed to be RPO which is another question all together given Conner was getting 5+ yards a clip

And we don’t need to practice any more!? That blitzing LB left conner wide open
It ended up being what Steve Young described as “wing it” offense. Having said that, Kyler didn’t give DHop a chance. Seriously under thrown.
