We are at the same point as last year. It takes time especially with someone new on the team like Cwood, getting back THJ, Spencer being #2, and reggie shooting like ass. I know it sucks to watch your favorite team lose but it’s growing pains baby. Our teeth popping out them gums. After Christmas mavs will be above .500. Mark my words. 🤣

Last years team was sick, this years team just sucks
The record itself doesn’t concern me. The talent deficit and the lack of fundamentals do.
Talent-wise, first, although Dinwiddie slots in Brunson’s role quite nicely, nobody could take up Dinwiddie’s responsibility from last year. Second, we still lack a reliable rim-protector/rebounder. Third, our 3&D guys have not performed well on the offensive end, to say the least; without reliable perimeter shooting, our offense stagnates.
In terms of fundamentals, the team as a whole needs to work on FT. And besides Luka, and perhaps Dinwiddie and Green, everyone on the team needs to relearn how to pass the ball without turning it over.
And we didn’t win last year
Brother this isn’t growing pains, this is arthritis. This roster is old.
Luka will rest when he’s dead
Most the rosters 30+ no one can rebound, 3 point shooting is worst in the league from Bullock/THJ.
Can they make playoffs? Probably with Luka carrying but thats where it ends, this rosters worst than last year.

Yes. We shouldn’t be at the same point as last year. We should grow, be better etc. Also, Luka was nowhere to be found for the first 20 games last year. Now he’s in top MVP form since day 1.

11th place is only 5 back of first in the west there is way too much overreaction. Team would’ve been top 5 right now if GM signed Drummond over McGee and brought in Dragic as backup. But Kidd’s stubbornness is holding the team back. Should honestly start Luka, Dinwiddie, Green, DFS and Wood by now and take Bullock out of the rotation for good and try Hardy instead. Use Kemba, THJ (more minutes when hot or need offense) Kleber and Hardy off the bench only
This sub is always doom and gloom. I just ignore it and come in the off-season for trade and draft talk.
Why is Kidd still playing Bullock? Green is a better and a younger player on the rise. At least if you’re a good coach recognize that and develop him.
I wish I could but the Mavs looked genuinely bad last game. Like really bad. Besides Luka, Wood, and Timmy it looked like no one even tried on offense. Also no one including Luka looked like they tried on defense either. It’s not a good look.
I would but when I see we don’t even have an out of bounds play to run (how is that even possible?), it doesn’t instill any confidence in this team going forward. Do we even have any offensive set plays? It sure doesn’t seem like we do.
