if you got pumped over sjd as a pass rusher then thats ur fault lmao thats not what we paid him to do. he was signed to stop the run and he does that, our run d sucks because we cant set the edge and our 2nd level players suck, not because of him
Could this be a function of our 1.5 gap defense?
Are we supposed to be looking at Justin Jones around the likes of Buckner and Vita Vea

SJD was never signed to be a pass-rusher. He’s a run stopper, and while the unit as a whole has still been a disappointment, he usually flashes a [couple](https://twitter.com/dlinevids1/status/1582197669459468288) [dominant](https://twitter.com/tylerjschoon/status/1592927881789079553) [reps](https://twitter.com/briannnnf/status/1584320685417299968) a game. Would like more on a play-to-play basis, but he and Austin Johnson can make a good starting IDL unit if they can clean up stuff schematically.
