    At the same time, Berube needs to take his own advice and make the team play defense for once.

  2. While I’m a fan of getting the boys fired up. Binnington is doing it wrong.

    I hope that’s all he is trying to do.

    And if he was just trying to protect his space and net or slowing down the attacker, no one is going to give him the benefit of the doubt when he keeps doing stupid shit.

    He needs to get out of his own head. And stop worrying about anything but keeping the puck out of our net

  3. It just feels like he has no control over this team anymore. It feels like there’s no structure at all and our goalie is a fucking crybaby. Get this shit under control or get out.

  5. Everybody on the team is so emotionally unhinged. Either too dead or too hyped. Everybody needs some mellow and to get together, maybe just hotbox the locker room as a team or something.

  6. I’ve been hard on Chief a lot, but I am so fucking happy to hear this. In his rookie year where he was just this underdog full of swagger, I can totally see the team getting pumped up by his antics. At this point now, it’s probably just like “oh, Jordan is getting pissy again”, especially when his recent backups have been Husso and Allen who were absolute troopers for the org and great professionals who stepped up bigtime when Binner struggled.

    The mouthing off does nothing but ignite the opposition. I know we’re more accepting of it here as Blues fans, but the fact that his antics (and the racist chuds in our fanbase) got the hockey world to give Kadri of all people the benefit of the doubt tells you how tired his bullshit is.

    Gimme that uber-confident robot Binner again. I don’t wanna “see some fuckin emotion” anymore.

  7. Could’ve been a private comment and not one literally everyone outside of STL is going to blow out of proportion. Especially when the guys have previously said it fires them up when he does those things lol. That being said, Binnington is probably going to outlast the coach in St. Louis so Berube might wanna tread easy.

    There are lots of problems with this team and it isn’t Binnington.

  8. Hold everyone accountable, including the goaltender who is the only one with a lick of passion right now. He needs to make some of those stops tonight. As for the rest of the team. Yikes. My scapegoat was once Zach Sanford and now I can’t pick just one lol. This team doesn’t play for each other. It starts with the higher ups. Get this team’s mental in check like we did for 7 games and we have the players to make some magic happen.

  9. Craig, get your fucking team together already. Have this conversation with Binner face to face. If this is an issue, fix it. If you don’t like the way your team is playing, fix it.

    If you can’t, you can pull a Paul Maurice and quit.
