  6. Hopefully Bones lit a fire under their asses and they don’t come out flat against another lower quality opponent. Any team can win on any given night, so the Jets can’t be coughing up points to teams like Anaheim.

  7. For the inevitable Boeser discussion: Boeser gives me such massive buyers-beware. After all his injuries the guy can barely skate, is brutal defensively, and doesn’t create a lot of offense 5v5 either. And he’d probably cost a metric ton to acquire and is overpaid salary-wise (he makes 6.6m!!!). We’d probably have to give up a pick and a good prospect to get a guy who’s essentially a PP merchant with a good shot. He hasn’t really been good for 3 years…

    (Besides, there are other players on the Canucks who would be much better trade targets anyway)
