2. Bill doesn’t want someone breathing down his neck who could, theoretically, take the reins before he is ready and oust all his offspring and friends.
Doubt he’ll get an HC job right away. Might need to be an OC for 2 years to get back into the NFL, prove himself again and then will get a job.
I doubt BB would be breathing down BoBs neck about the offense. You can trust BoB that the offense will be in good hands. The most important thing is to also have the guy ready to take over once BoB leaves so theres a seamless transition of the offense and for Mac.

How about the team looks beyond the mediocre fruit-of-the-Belichick-tree?
The team needs coaching talent that will shake things up, not blindly follow Bill into the middle of nowhere.
This was my thought in the off season and I almost wonder if it was offered and then turned down
Knowing Belichick, if he did hire BoB, he’d probably just move Patricia somewhere else, probably back to defense. Or shit, maybe he’d put BoB on the defensive coaching staff
