  1. Quick summary while I’m in school

Agents will call GMs to discuss a players drop in ice time. Believes these calls lead to the agent being allowed to explore other options.

Teams are definitely interested. Canucks know it will take time. Canucks will take a player with 1 year left possibly 2. “Someone” said teams will want a sweetener in return.

Not confirmed, but CGY needs a goalscorer and may be poking around. Lots of canucks alum that can vouch for boeser.

Donnie brings up the possibility of a pacioretty style trade.

  2. Of course they would be they have a hard on bigger than a pubescent teen discovering porn for Canucks players

  3. Ugh, why on earth would we add a sweetener to offload Boeser when his value is at an all time low.

  4. If we have to add a sweetener or do a pacioretty-style trade for Boeser I might just stop watching hockey for a while.

I still remember back in 2019, 7-2 win against the aging LA Kings, *”Team Like That”*, “The future is now, folks!” Things seemed so hopeful back then, it’s ridiculous how poorly our assets have been managed since then, if we had just gone on a proper rebuild from that moment on we could’ve already been a good team by now, instead we’re looking at blowing it up and waiting another 4-5 years for the next core to ripen. It’s just ridiculous how poorly the Canucks have been managed since the Gillis era. Get Aquilini to sell the team because I genuinely don’t think it’s possible to have a successful franchise with him at the helm

  5. Miller and Schenn for Andersson.

Ironically Miller would be their scoring leader. Damn the Flames have zero PPG players while we have four. How.

  6. Play Brock in the top 6. Wait till the TDL. His value will increase. TF do you expect him to do with Dries?

  7. Hmmm, so the team’s media contacts are preparing us to expect virtually nothing for Boeser – or perhaps even having to pay to get rid of him?

But everyone here was telling me that he has tremendous value. Enough for good picks and great prospects. And that the team was only allowing him to talk to other teams to be nice to him, and not because they couldn’t get anything of value for him. How odd…

  8. Canucks should not be paying to move any more contracts out. If the Canucks’ cannot find a partner willing to take on Boeser without giving up picks/prospects, then you hold on to him until the offer changes or his contract expires. If Boeser cannot be moved without giving up other assets, then focus on trading someone who can, like Kuzmenko or Horvat.

  9. what is the upside of trading him? Get back 2 plugs? Get an equivalent player? There just is no upside where you get a better player. If you just want to tank the team just give players away. Send the good players down and bring up players from Abbotsford.

Tanking is stupid to start with considering the lottery where you can finish 13th and still get a top 3.

  10. I think Flames jersey would look good on Brock appearance-wise but it would hurt me as a Canuck 😞

  11. I’m glad Dhaliwal is not a GM. He’s awesome and I love him but he’s not a “big picture” guy.

It’s recency bias that is making Boeser look bad right now. Is that all GMs and agents look at is what has been going on with a player recently? If that is truly the case the Canucks are about to get ripped off. And if what is going on recently is all that matters, why are GMs and agents paid so much money?

  12. Give me a fucking break… please not another one of our guys to the Flames. Send him to an Eastern team because I’m quite sure he will magically find his scoring touch again the minute he leaves Vancouver (as most ex Canucks do unfortunately).
