  1. We did a lot of things wrong this game but holy shit we would have won by 10 if the refs didn’t fuck us over.
I love Giannis but its a joke!

Also, Mose got the guys playing with better effort today and the offense looked marginally better (I think a lot of that is down to Fultz, but happy to give the coaching credit). However, HOLY SHIT USE A CHALLENGE COACH!

  2. i think the person who scheduled a twitter space named “magic therapy session: magic/bucks recap” accurately described how we all feel.

  3. Fultz and Franz should’ve touched the ball more in crunch time. Instead? Paolo, who was already shooting poorly, tried to take over. Way to much iso ball down the stretch. The ball movement that made the game so competitive to begin disappeared. Either way, i hope this game showed the doomers how competitive orlando really can be. When Wendell returns they will be fiery. Fultz is continuing to get more comfortable too. He and Paolo have a great connection. No reason to be upset at this loss, people seem to forget how young this team really is. and don’t even get me started on the refs…

  4. I can’t wait for Orlando to learn how to consistently move the ball and find the open man. They’re good enough individual players to get to the hoop or make a contested shot, when they learn how to play as a unit they’re going to be one of the best teams in the league.

  5. Easily the most palatable game in a decent stretch, loved the effort on defense especially actually closing out on shooters, fighting for rebounds, hell even just talking to each other.

  6. Fultz needs to flop more in the paint, these refs do not give him FT’s at all despite getting fouled every drive

  7. Cole going 0-9 with 1 assist is disturbing. Paolo looked way off but still damn near finished with a triple double, that’s encouraging. Didn’t stop attacking the basket. Good game from The Brothers Wagner. Fultz looked really good too. Bench let us down. Victor Wembanyama. Scoot Henderson.

  8. Fun game. I could tell they were ready to fight this game even down 18 and 16. If Paolo plays better we definitely could’ve won. Glad he was making his FTs though.

  9. Frustrating game because it had highs and lows. Paolo had 20 but looked lost for a good 10 minutes of playing time. Franz is uncomfortable without Wendell but still made things happen in random spurts. Mose had a great game plan but still didn’t use his fucking challenge. The officiating was dogshit but it’s hard to say that’s why we lost when we can’t hit shots.

  10. Glad to see us play better. Paolo didn’t shoot it well but this is the most effort he’s played with since he’s come back.

Franz doing Franz things. Fultz looking good.

I hate to say it since Cole brings the vibes but I won’t be mad if we move on from him eventually. I know the perfect role for him is as a sixth man… but as a sixth man, you gotta at least be somewhat efficient when you chuck it up.

Let’s be honest. You can’t count on him to be the most consistent. Dude has a lot more off nights than he does nights when he’s on fire.

  11. Didn’t watch Bol only 19 min something wrong or was just unplayable tonight? His defense needs improvement badly if that’s the case

  12. Franz best in his class, Markelle I think is the true starting PG. I was always on the Suggs train but Kelle really does make everybody better, and Kelle uses his body better than Suggs which makes his scoring seem more repeatable and consistent.

I think Fultz, Franz, Paolo, Dell, Mo best starting unit, with Suggs, Cole, Gary, Bol, Moe as the bench. RJ, Caleb fillers (especially since we always have injuries) but hopefully getting regular minutes.

Personally, I do not mind a big mid season trade involving one or both of Chuma/Cole, and all of Ross/Gary. JI also tradeable but at this point we need to see what he can bring, anything at all.

  13. It’s not that Cole was missing it was when he was missing. Tough. Suggs for all his sporadic offense is actually really valuable especially on defense. We need Delle soooooooo baaaaaaaad

  14. Had me in the first half of first quarter, not gonna lie.

Had me playing Bohemian Rhapsody in my head, but then the imaginary cassette player broke.

But I’m surprised with the end result actually. I wish they show this kind of late game tenacity to teams weaker than the Bucks. That effort deserves to be on NBA basketball. If you can get close to the Bucks, there’s no reason you can’t beat weaker teams.

Markelle showing his wings, and Paolo and Wagner contributing a bulk. Even when missing a few key players, still managed to threaten one top beast of the east. This is how you keep fans content.

  15. Not upset with this game at all. Glad to see that they kept on fighting even though the Bucks were on the verge of blowing the game open numerous times.

Great game from the Wagner bros & Fultz.

I get why some people may be upset with Paolo forcing shots especially on the play where Fultz was pointing to an open man, but the man knows how to draw fouls. I’ll take the free throws and the adding a team foul against the other team over an open 3 with this roster.

  16. Cole Anthony….but tell me why I saw some people say that we should trade Franz? After ONE off game? Like he shouldn’t have to sacrifice his touches of the ball to inefficient guards like Cole. I don’t want to see him have less shots taken than Cole and Fultz sorry. Arguably the teams best player too.

  17. Markelle needs to be the one initiating the offense down the stretch. He has proven in the past that he knows how to close out games. Instead we just get Paolo and Franz taking turns dribbling into contested layups. Let Fultz set them up like we all know he can do instead of just making the two of them force up their own shots.

  18. Keep shooting Cole, a lot of those shots were his shots just wasn’t his night. Funny that Orlando’s competitiveness returns once players placed some renewed emphasis on rebounding tonight- Paolo and Movitz both with 12. Also, how bout 2/4 from deep for Kelle?

  19. This is a loss you can live with…if you aren’t on an 8 game losing streak. Cole we need *something* outta you!!!
