Rangers to pick 4th in the 2023 MLB Draft

1. 4th overall, I’m good with that.

2. Thats way better than I expected we would get

3. Rangers were projected to pick 7th. MLB’s draft lottery had the Rangers at a 5.5% chance at the #1 pick, but they will move up and pick 4th behind Pittsburgh, Washington, and Detroit

4. We moved up!

5. 7th to 4th is just another W for us this offseason.

   4th pick should have some blue chip talent still there and will be huge to keep the farm rolling with what is hopefully our last top pick in the draft for a while. Use the 4th pick to replenish the farm after trading for a #2 starter!

6. LFG almost the same pick as last year

7. The Twins were the big winners in this lottery. From less than 1% odds to jumping into the Top 5! As for Oakland, ouch!

8. we thinking Dollander?

9. Keep in mind we lose the 2nd rounder this year as well with degrom signing. Kinda shaping up for a potential “sluff” in the 1st and swing for the fences in 3rd or 4th like we did with rocker and porter.

10. Good shot at Crews, Dollander, Gonzalez, or Clark with this pick. Gonna have a shot to get one of them. Nice!
